Driving transformational growth for a financial services startup

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting emerging startups, particularly in the FinTech space, by providing consultancy services focused primarily on digital marketing initiatives. One such business was Credi, a Western Australian startup disrupting the financial services industry with their peer-to-peer loan contract management platform.

During Credi’s infancy, they were heavily reliant on seed funding and were navigating through a period of financial hardship. Tasked with expanding their growing user base and increasing the usage of the application, I swiftly pivoted their digital marketing strategy. This began with conducting a detailed audit to identify marketing strengths, weaknesses, and potential risks.

I was able to uncover issues in goal tracking due to the application’s use of in-page browser refresh for user navigation. To address this, I designed a data management plan and implemented advanced behavioural tracking and code reviews that added necessary attributes to permit accurate funnel tracking. This small yet crucial change affected the overall performance of our digital campaigns dramatically, boosting the user signup rate by an impressive 570%, with a steady growth rate of 20% week on week.

Overall, my work with Credi Loans exemplifies my ability to drive business growth, particularly in startup environments. From operational cost-saving measures to customer acquisition strategy and advanced data tracking, I have a proven track record in propelling companies to the next phase of their growth.
